Examples of Curriculum Integration

Inspired by the experience of the CEGEP de Sorel-Tracy, the following examples have been developed among others on the subject of contamination, a serious issue in the region.

Human Sciences
Integration of acquired human sciences: Resolution exercise of the problem of contamination in the context of a society dominated by the scientific paradigm.

Environment, hygiene and health
Chemistry: Discussion and role play on the problem of contamination.
Human Physiology: Exploration of the toxicology of contaminants and creation of a guide for the general public on this issue.

Natural Sciences
Methodology: Presentation and panel discussion on the problem of contamination and methodological issues of research.
Chemistry: Exploration, experimentation of methods of measurement

Mechanical engineering technology
Materials: Exploration of contamination in local industry (sources) and search for alternatives.
